This really doesn't have much to do with the site... I just want a place to rant...

O_O OHMIGAWD I have to be careful of where my curiosity leads me...
So anyways, to begin, I have this huge phobia of horror things: movies, visual novels, anime, etc. I just can't stand the sight of these things (cuz I'm a wuss, that's why). But I have this contradiction: I like suspenseful plotlines. Basically, I like stories that grab you in and are exciting. They aren't necessarily horror, but they usually have some way of exploring psychological thinking, mystery, and all that other deep stuff. But the big difference: I'm okay with just words, but no pictures.

So I saw some news about some VNs (visual novels) being made into animes and through a series of reading and clicking, I made my way to the horrific VN... Saya no Uta. *cue in dramatic music* Okay so at this point, those who know of the game know the horror even if they liked the game. For those who most likely don't know, I can relate to a few things: School Days ending type gore x50 (no joke), Lovecraft plotlines (of which I have not read but know of), just gore and more continuous gore for the 7 hrs of gameage, and Nitro+ (that sums it all up). O_O
Now, I had only made my way to the wiki page so all I did was read summaries and stuffs. But even from summaries, I was pretty creeped/freaked/horrified/scared out of my mind. But the plot was so deep, psychological, and intriguing, and I wanted to know about the inside plot and endings so I could get the feel and knowledge of the dramatic story without having to play the game. (Yea, I'm weird like that. xP)

So I found a few blogs and I just kinda read their reviews, but the things I really wanted to know about were the endings. I didn't really understand why the endings would happen from just wiki summaries so I stumbled onto the next blog site... which just so happened to put SCREENCAPS of the game!! *gags* Cuz like I said before, the game pretty much is gore, and so any screencap is a "O_O" one. I'd like to save some people from the senseless pain of knowing the summary, though. So anyways, I saw the first screencap, quickly scrolled up, and X'ed out the screen. O_O GAWD THE WAS SCARRING!! I was just... uewgh *shivers*

So yea... just telling you now if you read the whole thing: I'm ranting here, not trying to get you to go search this stuff on wiki yourself. Yea, it can be tempting when you read stuff but have no idea what's going on, but just... don't be stupid like me. xP If you like this stuff, well, there's no stopping you. But if you're pretty visually phobic... yea,uh... o_O NO.
Well after that huge post, I'mma go have nightmares for a few weeks after seeing only 1 screencap. C ya. xP
